Create Your Workspace

Your Workspace is the top-level workspace for your financial data in Plutus.

A Workspace contains:

  • Your accounts
  • Your transactions
  • Your budgets
  • Your categories and tags
  • Your connected banking data
  • Your invited members

Even if you use Plutus on your own, you still work inside a Workspace.

After verifying your email, you will be guided through Workspace setup:

  1. Enter a name for your Workspace
  2. Confirm the workspace that will hold your financial data
  3. Finish onboarding and continue into the app

Pick a name that will still make sense later, especially if more than one person will use it.

Examples:

  • Personal
  • Smith Workspace
  • Family Finances

You can invite additional members later from Workspace settings.

Roles currently include:

  • Owner — Full access to settings, billing, and member management
  • Member — Can work with accounts, transactions, budgets, and categories
