Import Your First Transactions

Once you have at least one account, the next step is to get transactions into Plutus.

If your account is connected through a supported banking provider, transactions can sync automatically.

Typical synced data includes:

  • Date
  • Amount
  • Payee or merchant information
  • Account balance updates

If you prefer manual import, or your institution is not connected, use CSV import.

  1. Go to the import flow in Settings
  2. Choose the destination account
  3. Upload your CSV file
  4. Map the file columns to Plutus fields
  5. Review the preview and complete the import

You can also enter transactions one by one from the Transactions area.

Manual entry is useful for:

  • Cash spending
  • Adjustments
  • Missing imports
  • Backfilling a small number of historical transactions
